Mohamed Salah insists his entire focus is on helping Liverpool until the end of the season, amid speculation linking the Egypt sensation with a stunning move to Real Madrid. Salah, 25, only joined the Reds last summer but is already being tipped for a move to Real after his incredible run of performances under Jurgen Klopp. In 34 games for Liverpool, Salah has scored a staggering 28 goals and provided seven assists to help the team climb to third in the Premier League and progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League. Why do you think they say these things? I don’t have much to say about that [reports linking him with Real]. ‘If I have to say something, I’ll say I’m happy at Liverpool.’ Salah scored one of the goals of the season against Tottenham last week (Picture: Getty) Salah struggled during his first stint in England, making just 13 league appearances for Chelsea before being sold by Jose Mourinho. His form this season has been remarkable, however, and Phil Babb believes Real would need to make an offer of over £100m to secure his signature. The former Liverpool defender said: ‘It’s well over £100m now. His low centre of gravity and his ability to just waltz past players. ‘You’re not walking past kids in a park on a Sunday, he’s going past international, elite footballers like they don’t exist. He is one of the hottest properties in world football there is no shadow of a doubt.’ Liverpool 2017/18 Fixtures Southampton (A) – Sun Feb 11 Porto (A) – Wed Feb 14 (Champions League) West Ham (H) – Sat Feb 24 Newcastle United (H) – Sat March 3 Porto (H) – Tues March 6 (Champions League) Manchester United (A) – Sat March 10 Watford (H) – Sat March 17 Crystal Palace (A) – Sat March 31 MORE: FOOTBALL Deal close: Arsenal star set to agree new long-term deal after Ozil signs contract Arsenal would replace Arsene Wenger with Antonio Conte, reckons Paul Merson Philippe Coutinho speaks out after scoring first goal for Barcelona Babb, who made over 150 appearances for Liverpool, added: ‘You do fantastically well but then you have the big Spanish giants and await their interest. ‘They’re going to keep monitoring him and see if he keeps doing it till the end of the season, and if he does well in the World Cup, do they put in a massive world breaking bid in the summer transfer window?’
